How we work

Every project starts with two things: what the site actually consumes, and what condition its existing electrical installation is in. Both are measured rather than assumed, because a system sized from a guess underperforms in exactly the hours that matter, and generation added to an installation with undersized protection makes an existing problem worse.

We document what we build. A single-line diagram, protection design and as-built documentation are part of the handover, not an extra. The test of that is simple: another competent engineer should be able to inspect, maintain or extend the installation without having to reverse-engineer it first.

The same discipline applies to the parts nobody photographs. Most systems that disappoint do not fail dramatically — they lose a few per cent to a shaded string that should have been re-arranged, or to a termination that was tightened by feel, or to a structure that was never checked against wind loading. Those decisions are made in a morning and paid for over twenty years.

What we will tell you

We will not quote a system size over the phone, and we will not price a system without seeing the site. Where the existing installation needs remedial work before solar can be added safely, we say so, even when that makes the quotation larger than someone else's.

Where something depends on a distribution company's timeline or a regulatory process, we say that too rather than promising a date we do not control.

And where solar is not the answer, we say that as well. Some sites need their wiring corrected, their tariff reviewed or their power factor fixed first — and occasionally that is the whole job, with no array on the roof at the end of it.

Capability

What we take responsibility for

Capability rather than qualification: the work we can own end to end. Registrations and licences appear on this page only once they are real and verifiable.

  • Electrical design

    Load assessment, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculation, protection selection and discrimination, earthing design, and the single-line diagram that records all of it.

  • Solar engineering

    Array layout and string design, yield expectations from orientation and shading, structure selection, and inverter sizing that accounts for how the site loads it.

  • Storage and backup

    Essential-load segregation, battery sizing from real backup requirements, and changeover arrangements that fail in a predictable direction.

  • Regulatory and metering work

    Net-metering documentation and applications, the design compliance an application depends on, and coordination with the distribution company’s process.

  • Testing and commissioning

    Insulation resistance, earth continuity, polarity, protection function and inverter commissioning — recorded, so the installation has a baseline to be judged against later.

  • Maintenance and remediation

    Fault diagnosis, power-quality investigation and corrective work on existing installations, including systems installed by someone else.

Engagement

How a project actually runs

From the first conversation to the year after handover. The order is not negotiable — a design that precedes the survey is a catalogue selection, not a design.

    First conversation

    What the problem is, what the site is, and whether we are the right people for it. If the answer is no, that is a five-minute conversation rather than a proposal.

  2. 02

    Load assessment

    Bills, meter readings or an appliance profile, plus the connection phase and the daily shape of the load. This decides the size; nothing else may.

  3. 03

    Site survey

    Roof structure, orientation, shading through the day, available area, cable routes, and an inspection of the existing board, earthing and protection.

  4. 04

    Design and proposal

    Array layout, inverter and protection selection, earthing arrangement, structure, and a scope that names what is included — including any remedial work the survey found.

  5. 05

    Approvals where they apply

    Net-metering documentation and application, prepared against the design. We say plainly which parts of the timeline belong to the utility rather than to us.

  6. 06

    Installation

    Structure, modules, cabling and terminations, protection devices and earthing, with the site left workable at the end of each day rather than at the end of the job.

  7. 07

    Testing and commissioning

    The electrical tests, the inverter’s commissioning parameters, and a first check of output against what the design predicted.

  8. 08

    Handover and aftercare

    Documentation, a walkthrough of the system and its protection devices, and an agreed basis for inspection and maintenance afterwards.

Standards

What we hold the work to

Practices, not credentials. Each one is something a client can check on their own site, which is the only reason it is worth publishing.

  • Nothing is sized from a rule of thumb

    Consumption decides the array, backup hours decide the battery, and the connection phase decides the inverter. A neighbour’s system is not an input.

  • The installation is inspected before it is extended

    Boards, earthing and protection are checked before generation is added to them, because adding a generator to a weak installation makes an existing fault more likely, not less.

  • Terminations and mechanical work are treated as engineering

    Most solar faults are not exotic. They are loose terminations, poor cable support, unsealed penetrations and structures that were never designed for wind loading.

  • Every design is written down

    A single-line diagram, a protection schedule and commissioning records. If the work cannot be described on paper, it has not been designed — it has been assembled.

  • The scope names its exclusions

    A quotation that is silent about the existing board, the civil work or the net-metering application is not cheaper. It is incomplete, and the difference appears later.

  • We stay reachable after handover

    A system installed by someone who will not return is a liability with panels on it. Maintenance and fault diagnosis are part of the offer, not a favour.

What we will not do

Each of these costs us work. They are here because a company that names its limits is easier to verify than one that claims none.

  • We do not quote a size over the phone

    An indicative figure from the estimator is a starting point for a conversation. A price against it, before a survey, would be a guess wearing a number.

  • We do not price around the existing installation

    Where remedial work is genuinely needed, it appears in the quotation. Leaving it out to win on price transfers the problem to the client and calls it a saving.

  • We do not promise a utility’s timeline as our own

    Application and approval durations are set by the distribution company. We commit to our part of the schedule and describe theirs honestly.

  • We do not present illustrations as our own work

    The images on this site are original diagrams and graphics. Project photographs will appear when there are real ones to publish, with verified specifications beside them.

Our base is Lahore, and LESCO is the distribution company for net metering there. Coverage beyond it is stated honestly rather than aspirationally — if a site is too far for us to return to for maintenance, that is a reason to say no.
